2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty - Always wanted one of these trucks so I have a pretty good emotional attachment to the truck. It is built like a tank and it has the 7.3 power stroke which is one of the best engines ever built. I can haul anything I want with it and its also a good lookin
I mostly love my truck. I always wanted a 7.3 liter powerstroke so I was super excited to buy this truck. It's a big, heavy duty truck that has done every job I have asked of it. It hauls anything that I will personally ever need to haul. It is a solid truck and I love the look of it. I have added many parts to increase power and reliability. The engine is one of the most reliable ones you can get even before any extra parts. I don't doubt that I will get over 400,000 miles out of the truck.
Took my girlfriend on our first date in this truck and I think it was the reason we started dating.
Looks good. Great power. Crazy reliable.
Rides rough. Expensive to maintain. Big vehicle, can be tough to drive in town.
2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty - It's a lemon
This vehicle has had several mechanical issues. It contains a 6.0 liter diesel engine that consistently breaks down. I have spent more money repairing the vehicle than it cost at time of purchase. Every time we take it in for repairs the mechanics tell us it is only worth scrap metal and we should cut our losses. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.
It broke down and I had to wait on the side of the freeway for 5 hours for a tow truck big enough to haul it.
There are not a lot of positive things I can say about this vehicle. It does have a lot of legroom in the front as well as the back row seating and so you didn't feel cramped when traveling.
This vehicle should have been recalled by the producer and refunds should have been issued to purchasers. Severe mechanical breakdowns are common in this vehicle and they are expensive repairs.

This truck is very reliable and easy to work on. Although it would take ages to find one of these trucks in great condition for under 15k as of 2022. The only downside of the 7.3 is having not as much power(good torque). These trucks make up for that in reliability, and comfort. The interior quality is amazing. The dash is in perfect condition and the leather seats hold up well.

Big, reliable, looks like a work truck

Not comfortable ride, turning radius isn't great
What a great truck!! The truck isn't pretty or comfortable, but it is reliable. I have always kept up on my maintenance and it has never let me down. It states its max tow is 10,500, but I've had 13k on it and it pulled just fine. I'm rolling on 270k miles on it now, and think I might retire it once I make 300k, but that's TBD for sure.
