I have 3 teens/young adults and we are coming to PCB in July. What area is best location to stay that we can enjoy a quiet beach but close enough to all activities for busy teens? Show Report inappropriate content

Re: Best area of PCB to stay 7 years ago Save I would say one of the condos close to Pier Park, would probably fit the bill. Of course others may say stay closer to the clubs at the east end of the beach. I guess it would depend on your tastes. Report inappropriate content

They are mostly residential with less traffic and fewer jackasses. There are typically wide stretches with a lot fewer people along the beach. Especially during the week. We don't care for the big condo complexes. I guess having lived there, I don't care to feel like a tourist. They are still close enough to Pier Park and all of the restaurants and shops along Back Beach Rd. Edited: 7 years agoReport inappropriate content

She says at night on the beach there are druggies and homeless people and she said she wouldn't have our family go to that area. Any thoughts on better area to stay? Since I am not familiar with the area how far is Long Beach area from the Pier Park? Report inappropriate content

I would not stay in that area because of the very issues your daughter mentioned. We stayed atShores of Panama one memorial day and I said never again! We ran into the same thing at Majestic Beach Towers. The far east end toward St. Andrews Park is quiet with a lot of families and the far west end is also quiet. We have stayed at Treasure Island and Seychelles and enjoyed both. If you want to be close to Pier Park, Calypso is nice and the beach is very clean. These are just my opinions! It's still only five minutes from PCB. It's a little more sophisticated than the party area of central PCB (meaning less partiers). Inlet only has about two small condos. The rest are beach houses.
