Fruit in green tea?
After Creed Aventus is on everyone's lips and is considered THE compliment getter par excellence, I had to have it. Since you can not test Creed just like that at Doulgas around the corner and a blind buy of 400 € just seems idiotic to me (so much costs almost my whole collection :-) - I have decided for a middle ground with Club de Nuit Intense Man - Eau de Parfüm.
Fragrance:
How do you feel when you wear *Club de Nuit - Eau de Parfum*?
- I feel fruity and
fresh - like sitting in a fruit basket. The smoke I personally perceive more like a kind of green tea (tart-dry, relaxing note). Initially, the fruit basket is quite dominant, but never unpleasant, as some describe with the eau de toilette. The often-criticized opening on the standard variant made me buy the smoother eau de parfum variant. Surely a good decision.
When do I wear *Club de Nuit - Eau de Parfum* the most?
- When I want to smell fruity-fresh. But rather in the spare time,
sometimes even during sports. In general, I would prefer the from spring to the end of summer.
How can you compare *Club de Nuit - Eau de Parfum* with other summer fragrances?
- John Varvatos - Artisan Pure: also super fresh, but much more lemon - for me from 30 degrees and white clothes
- Abercrombie & Fitch - First Instinct: this one smells very yummy like melon and somehow more teen vibe than Club de Nuit.
- Montblanc - Legend Spirit: Goes basically at the beginning
for me in the same direction, because grapefruit. The smoke note from the Club de Nuit, makes it forh me more masculine and relaxing. The Lgend Spirit is more sporty.
SILLAGE / DURABILITY:
- The sillage is I think very good.
- The durability is very good on my skin.
FLAcon:
- The 150ml bottle is made of heavy black glass. Good in itself, but I do not associate the fragrance with the bottle.
PRICE / PERFORMANCE:
- I bought the 150ml variant for just under
55€. Price / performance compared to Creed Aventus of course NoBrainer.
CONCLUSION:
Do not know Creed Aventus, but Club de Nuit - Eau de Parfum is in itself a standout creation of smoky pineapple, which you can wear from spring to the end of summer (or when going out) super.
