Fast and furious 6 cars list with pictures

The hero car of the movie, the Charger shows up in several pivotal scenes, drifting, taking sharp turns, and burning up the roadway. There's a 2012 in the movie, but Dodge has tweaked the 2013 model with a few racing amenities. There's now a launch-control mode that's standard: You press ESC twice, press the brake, and press the throttle. The car will rev to 1825 rpm and wait for you to release the brake. A torque-management system kicks in and you're on your way from 0 to 60 in just under 5 seconds.

Everyone expected The Fast and The Furious to be a popular movie, but no one expected it to spawn five sequels with a sixth now in theaters. While the general movie-going public undoubtedly watches the films for their action the series has also proven popular with "gearheads," - i.e., car guys and street racers who watch the films to see their favorite exotic cars onscreen.

If it's exotic cars you're looking for, then you'll find them in spades in Fast and Furious 6, as there were over 400 cars from all walks of life used in the film. Sadly, only a handful of those cars survived the ordeal, since making an action movie involving high-speed chases usually takes its toll on a vehicle.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The following 25 cars can all be seen in the movie, whether in the background or driven by one of the actors, and they consist of everything from exotic and expensive imports to classic American muscle cars.

FAST & FURIOUS 6 SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

This is a classic American muscle car, so naturally it belongs to Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel). It stays on the jacks most of the movie, but that doesn't make it any less of a bad-ass car.

When Dom decides to test his skills at a London street race, he takes this slick ride to the party. The car, which was highly-customized for the film, has a 500 Horsepower engine which makes it absolutely roar through the streets of London.

When the crew attempts to thwart a heist, Roman (Tyrese Gibson) takes to the highway in this beautiful white steel steed. There were several Mustangs used in the films (sadly this one doesn't survive). All of them were either 1970 models or 1968 and 1969 models dressed up to appear like the 1970 model.

Later in the film, new dad Brian (Paul Walker) decides to jump behind the wheel of this classic, sporty car to pursue the bad guys. When compared to all the unique and exotic imports used during the film, this once-popular, inexpensive domestic vehicle stands out. Don't let it's looks fool you, though. This is one fast car that handles exceptionally well.

Secretly, every guy who has ever been in high school has, at one time or another, wanted to be behind the wheel of this gorgeous muscle car. Just park it in front of the school, lean against the hood in your letterman jacket and watch the honeys flock to you. Total bad-assery.

This sports car isn't as flashy, fast or expensive as other British sports cars, but it'll get you down the road quicker than walking - while not completely draining your wallet.

This stocky SUV has horrible gas mileage, a high price tag and it's rather slow when compared to the other vehicles on this list, but if you find yourself needing to haul more than one person (while traversing bad terrain) then this is the vehicle for you.

If you're part of the British Police department then you're most likely going to be driving one of these cars - though granted we doubt you'll be leaning out the window firing automatic weapons.

Here's something you may not know about this European sedan - the company who produces it is actually owned by the American company GM. The car and its parent company also have ties to the mid-priced (and now defunct) Saturn car company.

James Bond may drive a 1963 Aston Martin DB5 (DB stands for David Brown, the manufacturer who purchased the company) but what he should REALLY want to do is get behind the wheel of this newer and sportier coupe.

The team first chases the bad guys around London in these classy, sporty cars, but their stock models are just no match for the highly-customized vehicles they're pursing. Still, we wouldn't mind driving one of these to work everyday.

Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise know that former police officer Brian O'Conner's favorite car to drive is the Nissan Skyline - and we can understand why. What started off as a concept car turned into one of Japan's - and the world's -  finest and most affordable "supercars".

Not all American muscle cars where made in the sixties and seventies. This modern muscle car combines the performance one would expect from a classic American muscle with the beauty of a sports car.

Dodge has to have one of the most loyal car fan bases out there. Mopar enthusiasts have to be happy with the updated look of the Dodge Charger. If not, then the 6.4 Liter Hemi-V8 under hood should at least make them smile.

This custom vehicle is a a handmade "one-off" produced in the workshop of Dennis McCarthy, who both conceived and built the design. The extremly badass three-passenger "flip" car is powered by a 500-HP LS3 engine running through a boat V-Drive propulsion system, which essentially allows the driver to control the rear of the car independently from the front wheels, like a monster truck.

This gorgeous two-toned car isn't much more than set dressing during the film, but it's still great to see onscreen. It can go from 0 to 60 MPH is under 3 seconds and it's even street legal...but just barely. It won't set you back $2.4 million, either.

If there's one thing the Fast & Furious franchise has taught us, it's that just by parking a fancy, exotic car at a party, dozens of gorgeous, scantily-clad women will flock to it. This car is no exception. Also: apparently black duct tape is now be a proper substitute for a shirt (example: the girl in the background.)

See? More exotic cars parked and even more hot, scantily-clad women dancing around them. It's like drawing moths to a flame. Ignore the twenty-something hipster in the striped tank top leaning against the car. Chances are his dad bought that car for him.

Since Ferrari only built thirty of these $2 million cars, then hand-picked the owners, the chances of a real one showing up in the movie were slim-to-none; that's why this replica was built. Real or not, we'd still drive it around town - though pulling through a McDonald's drive-thru could be a challenge.

There isn't much information floating around the Internet about this Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Han (Sung Kang), but we know that it looks slick. Since it's a Harley, we could ride it at Sturgis or Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL and turn some heads.

U.S. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) is a really big man, so it makes sense that he would drive a big - REALLY BIG - vehicle like this. The tagline for this truck is "Extreme Armored Vehicle" and that's probably an understatement.

This fantastic sports car was the dream child of Swede Christian von Koenigsegg and has an all-aluminum engine. It turns heads and grabs awards at every Car Show it attends. It just sits around in the film looking pretty and attracting the attention of some long-legged girls dressed in club attire, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Street racers love the affordability of the Subaru, and the Japanese car manufacturer has a very loyal fan base. Even for a four-door sedan the car looks slick and as you can see from the picture, still attracts the ladies. Not sure who talked these girls into riding this car like they're on the side of a yacht, though.

Alfa Romeo makes some of the most elegant sports cars on the market today, so it's unfortunate that it doesn't get the screen time it deserves during the film, as it's only used in the final scenes of the movie, which take place at night.

Sure, the bad guys are bringing a tank to a car fight - and SURE it only goes 30 MPH, but it also has the ability to level mountains with its 120mm cannon and can smash any car to bits with its dual tracks. This British-made, armored beast of a tank isn't something to take lightly.

Those are all the hottest and most exotic vehicles we could find in Fast & Furious 6, but there are bound to be a lot of cool cars in the background that you should look out for as well.
