Q. What’s the best way to clean my microwave?
A. Microwaves get grimy fast! But cleaning them is not hard.
The first step is to unplug the microwave. This reduces the risk of electric shock.
Check your manual. Most messes can be cleaned with a damp paper towel or sponge.
For grease, use baking soda, soap, or a product made for cleaning the inside of a microwave.
Do not use commercial oven cleaners, abrasives, ammonia, or bleach.
For baked-on food, heat 1 cup of water for a few minutes. The steam will help soften the food.
Q. How can I tell if my dishes are microwave safe?
A. Look for a box with a set of wavy lines on the dishes. This symbol represents a microwave. If you see it, you’re good to go.
If the container has a #5 on it, it is made of polypropylene and likely safe.
CPET #1 is another label that suggests safety. It is found on bakery trays and some packaged meals.
Q. Does LG offer a warranty?

I see that the lower oven's height is 14 1/4". Setting the rack at the lowest level, what is the height of the item I can bake in the oven?
With the standard oven rack at the lowest setting, you can get about 9 1/4" clearance, coming in just under the heating element. If you use the slide out rack (my preferred for a heavy roaster), you're limited to around 8 3/4 high for the bottom oven. Contrary to the other response, yes, you can use both ovens simultaneously. Select the top oven and set the desired temperature. Then turn the selector knob again and select the bottom oven and set the desired temperature. You'll now see both ovens and their respective temperatures on the screen.
