The main information centre (tel: +1 787 289 7240) is in Terminal B near the ticket desks. A tourist information office is located in Terminal C (tel: +1 800 866 7827) and a Traveller’s Aid desk can be found on the first level of Terminal E.

Driving directions:
From San Juan, take Highway 26 (Expreso Ramón Baldorioty de Castro) towards Carolina, then follow the signs. The total drive time from central San Juan to the airport is approximately 15 minutes.
Transfer between terminals:
There is only one terminal building at Luis Munoz Marin Airport. Confusingly, however, the airport has four concourses which it describes as terminals. If you get puzzled, ask a member of staff.

Public transport road:
There is a ground transportation information desk at San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, which gives information and books tickets for all types of travel.
Bus: Regular local buses (tel: 311) and airport shuttles run to San Juan, where there is a ferry service from Pier 2 across the bay to Catano. The journey time to San Juan is about 60 minutes. The Metropolitan Bus Authority stops are located on the departure level at Terminal A and Terminal/Concourse D.
Taxi: Taxis are available from the arrivals level. Puerto Rico has both ordinary taxis and taxis taxis turisticos – the latter, which are painted white with a logo, have a special knowledge of tourist areas and charge set rates depending on zones.

Money:
There is a bank on the second level (Departures) of Terminal D. ATMs can be found in all concourses.
Food:
A concentration of restaurants, bars and fast-food outlets can be found on the second level (Departures) of Terminals B, C and D; snack bars are available in all terminals and at some gates.
Shopping:
Shops are also mainly on the second level of the main terminal complex (Departures). Duty-free shopping is also available.
Luggage:
Baggage handling assistance and porter facilities can be found in the main terminal building. Luggage sealing services are available in all concourses, and free porterage (tips required) is available. There is also a left luggage facility (tel: +1 787 791 3371). A lost and found service is provided by the police office in Terminal E.
Other:
Medical emergency services are available at San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Smoking areas are provided.

VIP Lounge Avianca is located on the second level of Terminal C.

Communication Facilities:
Public telephones are located throughout the airport. Wi-Fi access is available in the airport for free.
Disabled facilities:
Facilities for the disabled include lifts, ramps, people movers, TDD telephones, disabled toilets and dedicated parking spaces. Travellers should contact the Traveller’s Aid desk on the first level of Terminal E for assistance, but passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should contact their airline prior to travel.
Car parking:
Long- and short-term parking is available in the multistorey car park adjacent to the terminals. A free waiting area is available for drivers meeting arrivals.
