Is it worth it?

I’ve had the OG Xbox One since the year it came out. I love it and it’s done me a great service over the years, but I feel like it’s time for a bit of a performance upgrade!!

I don’t play Xbox enough to warrant spending the money for a Series X, and don’t really have the interest in doing so, I don’t play on a 4K TV, I’m happy with 1080 or 1440 which is the limit of my screen anyway. Most if not all of the games I play regularly are downloads anyway, I can’t remember the last time I put a disk in my console.

Is the Series S still a big enough jump to warrant it? I just like the sound of the increased performance and graphics, not to mention having an FOV slider and 60fps on Destiny 2 lol

Plus for £250 it really is not that expensive in my opinion!

What Xbox is better series S or One S?

The Xbox Series S has the same CPU as the Series X, an eight-core chip that runs at 3.6GHz, or 3.4GHz with multithreading. That's a big bump over the One S, which has a custom eight-core processor running at 1.75GHz.

Is it worth upgrading from Xbox One S to Series S?

Absolutely! The Xbox Series S offers tremendous value wherever you turn, from its Game Pass offering to Xbox All Access. What's more, it is a worthy upgrade for those coming from the previous Xbox One consoles, with faster load times, better frame rates and performance boosts to your existing games.
