How do I know which benefits come with my Cards?

To find out more about the specific benefits that come with your Cards and how to use them, please select your Corporate Card from the list below:

  • Corporate Platinum Card
  • Corporate Gold Card
  • Corporate Green Card
  • Corporate Purchasing Card
  • Corporate Meeting Card
  • Business Extra® Corporate Card
  • Corporate Defined Expense Program

How is the American Express® Corporate Purchasing Card different from other American Express® Corporate Cards?

The Corporate Purchasing Card is recommended to manage low dollar, high volume purchases. The Corporate Purchasing Card can help your company, and suppliers benefit from a streamlined procure-to-pay process. Employees can conveniently make business purchases and the Procurement department receives a consolidated view into supplier payments. Suppliers enjoy the ease and expediency of electronic payments while Accounts Payables can save time by eliminating the need for invoices and checks. Your company can choose to use the Corporate Purchasing Card in various ways to help support your program strategy.

A Corporate Card is provided to employees for the payment of approved, business‐related expenses, most often travel‐related. They are usually issued in the company's name, but may also display the name of the individual Card Member. The employee submits expense reports, which enables the company to see where money is spent and keep track of who is spending it. American Express designs custom Corporate Card programs with features and tools to help meet the specific needs of your managers, frequent business travelers and executives.

What is the advantage of choosing the American Express® Corporate Meeting Card?

The Corporate Meeting Card is recommended for the professional meeting planner or the corporate employee who regularly manages meetings. The Corporate Meeting Card is specifically designed for you to track meeting spend and get expense visibility through spend reporting. This can also help your company manage meeting policy compliance with preferred suppliers and leverage consolidated meetings spend data to help enhance supplier negotiations. With the Card your company can also gain access to an array of benefits and services from American Express.

How can American Express help me manage employees' business expenses?

An American Express® Corporate Card program can help you take charge of your company’s expense management processes. With American Express @Work®1 Reporting, the Program Administrator can access a single online portal for actionable reporting and efficient program management, get visibility into your company’s spending, and leverage intuitive reporting tools to help you make decisions for your business.
