Please enable JavaScript The beginning of the new year means different things to different people. For some people, the new year is the chance for a fresh start and hope for a better outcome. But a new year isn’t the only time for a new beginning, you don’t have to wait for one year to end before you take the bold step to start over. Every day is a chance for a new beginning. New beginnings come in so many different forms. Whether you are starting a new job, moving to a new city, starting a new relationship, or even turning a new leaf, new beginnings can be somewhat scary. People consider starting over almost all the time especially after they’ve had an epiphany. Others also consider new beginnings at the beginning of a new year or a new month or even on their birthdays. The thing about wanting to start afresh is that it symbolizes that you’ve realized that something in your life isn’t right for you and so you need a change. This can even be a change in your behavior. Whatever your reason is for wanting to start anew, it can be a bit frightening, especially if you begin to wonder what the outcome will be. But thankfully, the word of God provides advice and encouragement for new beginnings. Sometimes, God can put a strong desire in your heart. Maybe it’s a desire to get a new job, or a desire to start something new. This can seem overwhelming especially if you consider your present situation and abilities. But in times like these, you need to remember that it is not about what you can do, instead, it is about the changes God wants to do in your life. And He is more than capable to turn your life around. So even if you’ve made some wrong choices in the past, don’t get trapped in regret. Instead, dare to believe that God will redeem your past and restore your present. Know that God provides hope through his words in the time of change and transition, so you can move confidently into the future.
