• Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
• Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
• Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
• But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

• For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
• Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
• Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
• See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
• And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
• Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
• For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
• Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
• Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
• Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
• Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
• Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
• And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
