milknosugar97 · 12/10/2020 09:04 Currently on CD17, predicted day of ovulation was Friday however have been getting flashing smileys for 7 days now Have been buying ran out of my first pack and then only bought a 10 pack as I thought my static smiley would show up soon, now I have had to buy another pack!!!! Wondering if I could’ve missed the peak with the change in tests as you get a new thing to put your stick in each pack (unsure of the name) or if this is normal and you can get a static smiley after 7 days Our first month of trying and this is making me consider throwing out all ovulation tests and just DTD every other day! Does a flashing smiley face mean ovulation?When it detects a rise in your level of estrogen it displays High Fertility (flashing smiley face), and will continue to display High Fertility in the following days whilst it looks for your LH surge. When your LH surge is detected, the test displays Peak Fertility (static smiley face).

How long after flashing smiley face will I ovulate?They say normally it's 2-4 days of flashing, so say you get the peak (solid smiley) on Friday, you will then ovulate 12-24 hours later give or take, which is most likely to be Sat.So while it's not ideal, you could still have a very good chance.
