TO OPERATE THE CLOCK:

When plugged in an AC outlet, the display will blink on and off meaning the incorrect time is being displayed. You should always

check the time when this is indicated. The clock will automatically displayed AM/PM, but you must be sure to correctly set the

indicator for the time and alarm. When the PM indicator is on, "PM" will be displayed and when the AM indicator is on, nothing will

be displayed. When the alarm indicator is displayed, then the alarm will sound at the set time.

TO SET THE TIME:

Slide the TIME SET switch (2) to T. Set. Press and hold the HOUR button (5) to your desired hour. Be careful to set AM/PM correctly.

When PM time is set, "PM" will appear on display. Press and hold MINUTE SET button (3) to your desired minute. Slide the TIME SET

switch (2) to the lock position.

TO SET THE ALARM TIME:

Slide the ALARM switch (2) to A. Set. Press and hold the HOUR SET button to your desired hour. Be careful to set AM/PM correctly.

When PM time is set, "PM" will appear on display. Press and hold MINUTE SET button (3) to your desired minute. Slide the A. SET

switch (2) to the lock position.

TO TURN THE ASCEDING ALARM ON/OFF:

Slide the ALARM ON/OFF SWITCH (1) to the "ON" position. A bell symbol will be visible on the display when the alarm is activated.

The alarm will sound at the selected alarm time. Slide the ALARM ON/OFF SWITCH (1) to the "OFF" position to turn the alarm off.

TO USE THE SNOOZE FEATURE:

When the alarm is sounding, press the SNOOZE button (4) .The bell symbol will blink on and off indicating the snooze mode is

activated. The alarm will sound again after 8 minutes.

BATTERY BACKUP:

This clock has an optional battery backup feature, designed to retain the time and alarm settings in the event of a power failure. To

use the battery backup, insert one 1 .5V "AA" battery into the Battery Compartment (6) noting the correct polarity. Note that the

battery can be installed without unplugging the clock. If the power fails, the battery backup will automatically continue running the

clock maintaining the time and alarm settings. However, the display will disappear. When the power is restored, the display will

reappear. The battery will maintain timekeeping and the alarm setting for approximately 8 hours during the power failure or

interruption.

If using the battery backup feature, it is recommended to change the battery annually.

Operation: When the clock plugged in, the display will blink on and off meaning the correct time needs

to be set.

Auto Dimmer: The display brightness is automatically adjusted according to the amount of light in the

room. The display brightness will automatically dim when the room darkens. The light sensor is located

under the front grill.

Setting the Time:

1. Press and hold the Time Button

2. Press the Hour Button until the correct hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct

AM/PM (PM indicator will light up for the PM time)

3. Press the Minute Button until the correct minute is displayed

4. Release the Time Button once the time has been set.

Setting and Operating the Alarm:

1. Press and hold the Alarm Button

2. Press the Hour Button and then the Minute Button (MIN) to set the desired wake up time.

Remember to set the correct AM/PM (PM indicator will light up for the PM time)

3. Release the Alarm Button once the alarm time has been set

4. Slide the Alarm ON/OFF switch to ON to activate the alarm (Alarm Indicator will light up on

the display)

BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the back of the clock. Slide the battery cover away from the clock case. Remove the battery
cover and insert one battery according to the polarity indication inside the battery compartment. Replace battery cover. (Battery not
included)

TO SET THE TIME
Press down and hold the TIME SET (3) button. Depress the HOUR (5) button as many times as necessary until the correct hour is
reached. (Please note: if the Hour desired is of PM time, will display in the lower corner of the display). Next, press the MIN (4)
button until the desired TIME is reached. Release the TIME SET (3) button.

TO SET THE ALARM TIME
Press down and hold the ALARM SET (2) button. Depress the HOUR (5) button as many times as necessary until the desired hour is
reached. (Please note: if the Hour desired is of PM time, “PM” will display in the lower left comer of the display). Next, press the MIN
(4) button until the desired ALARM TIME is reached. Release the ALARM SET (2) button.

To set alarm (on models with alarm) Turn the alarm setting knob to the desired time in the direction of arrow and push up alarm switch on side of case. On models with alarm switch on back of clock, please slide the alarm switch to ON position. To turn the alarm OFF, slide switch to OFF position.
