To request an official signed and sealed document verifying your Alaska license, certification, or registration to be sent to another state or agency, please use one of the options below:

Electronic Requests

NOTE: This feature is for individuals who have registered with MY LICENSE and wish to pay the filing fee online with a credit card payment .

If you are not registered with MY LICENSE and would like information on how to register, please contact

  1. Submit Your Request
    • Send your Request for License Verification to your program email, found HERE.
    • Put the program along with your first and last name in the subject line.
    • The following information must be provided in the body of your email:
      • NAME: The name used when your professional license was last issued or renewed.
      • LICENSE NUMBER: Your professional license number.
      • MAIL TO: Provide both the Board and/or Agency name along with a complete mailing address.
  2. Payment of Fees
    • You will be sent a notification email with a link to your license details page.
    • A “Make a Payment” link will be available within your license details page under “Actions”.
    • A $20 filing fee is required for each verification of license.
  3. Completed Request
    • You will be sent a notification email with a link to your license details page when the request is completed.
    • Please allow up to 10 business days for processing after submitting your payment.

If you prefer to submit a check or money order, you may mail in the Request License Verification form.

This database contains over 30,000 occupational/professional licenses issued by the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing and its licensing boards.

State business licenses are not included. There is a separate business license search.

Red indicates an Expired License; Green indicates Retired Status. Information displayed under the search program is immediately updated whenever a change is made to the record by the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing. HOWEVER, please be aware that board/licensing actions taken against a license may not appear on this site until a few weeks after they are taken due to effective dates, appeals or other administrative processes.

Only the first 500 licensees found through the "Professional License Search" are displayed.

PRIMARY SOURCE VERIFICATION:

The professional license on-line search reflects real time license information as it relates to License Number, License Type, Expiration Date, Current Issue Date, and First Issue Date. This information is valid as of the moment it is viewed.

Enforcement actions require a longer processing time and will be recorded to the database upon completion of processing.

License holders or agencies that require a complete license verification in writing must submit a written request to the division along with a $20.00 verification fee.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation asks you to verify a contractor's license by visiting their website at www.myfloridalicense.com or calling 850-487-1395. You can also download the Department of Business and Professional Regulation mobile app.

How do I check a business license in Florida?

In order to search business entities in Florida, you must go to the SunBiz Secretary of State's Website. Once on the page, you have the option to lookup an entity (Corporation, LLC, Limited Partnership) by; Name, Officer, Registered Agent, Tax (EIN) Number, or Document Number.

How long does Dbpr approval take?

The DBPR generally takes 10 to 30 days to complete the application process, if the application is submitted as complete. The DBPR must complete its process in 90 days or less.
