Lighthouse Trick or Treat at the Muskegon South Pierhead LightWhere: 1431 Beach St, Muskegon, MI 49441 On Saturday, October 8th, the South Pierhead light in Muskegon is offering a unique trick-or-treat opportunity. Show up in costume from 2 pm to 5 pm for a free tour of the lighthouse. For those without costumes, tours are still available. Expect to pay $5 for adults, $3 for 17 & under and veterans if you don’t wish to wear a costume. Halloween Hayrides in GraylingWhere: Wellington Farm Park, 6940 Military Rd., Grayling, MI During the last weekend of October, from the 28-29, Wellington Farm Park in Grayling is offering Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Hayrides. Perfect for couples or families with young children who prefer not to be scared, this hayride takes you through a forest illuminated by jack-o-lanterns of many different styles, all carved during the farm’s pumpkin carving contest. A stop at the Summer Kitchen for a Halloween treat of cider and donuts beside the warm stove will break the ride into two parts. Expect to return to the Visitors Center afterward.
