4. Re: Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort View Room Show
3 years ago Over the decades, we have stayed in many of the towers, and in many different rooms. BLBL is correct - it can differ, and differ greatly, Tower to Tower, and now there are so very many. As for Resort noise, we have found the rooms to be well-insulated acoustically. However, from the lanai, the Rainbow Tower has Ocean/Partial Ocean View Rooms, which pick up some noise from the event at the pool complex, but that event is relatively short, and ends early. The music has proved to actually be a plus. Then, we had a Harbor/Lagoon View Room in Rainbow, on a low floor. From the lanai, we DID hear the service trucks backing into the loading docks. That was really the only “traffic noise,” which we ever had. Even with a Mountain View at Kalia Tower (medium high floor), we got almost zero noise from Kalia Road, just below. Since our last stay, there are now 2 new towers. As for noise from a “Resort View” room, I would imagine one would only hear such, on the lowest floors? Best of luck, Hunt
