This one is the ethanol blend, an MSDS sheet would be essential.

Can this be used as ballast in tractor tire?

Asked by: Jerry

Manufacture's response is 1) It is not a recommended use of our product (in other words we don't give instructions to use it this way and would be unable to give assurances as to how the product would or would not work when used in this manner.) We have no burst protection data in regards to use in a tire. 2) Calcium Chloride is commonly used for this type of application 3) People do use RV antifreeze (propylene glycol blends) to do this - there are numerous articles and charts online that give instruction as to how to go about doing this and quantity required to fill based on tire size. 4) It is illegal to use ethylene glycol blends for this type of application - due to extreme toxicity if there were to be a leak.
