Let's be honest, we could do without this process. Over the past few years, different apps have been developed to try and help people with this exact problem. There are apps such as Venmo, PayPal, Superpay and many more where you can send and receive money with ease. But with 36 million active users, Cash App is a popular choice. Cash App is a mobile peer payment service that allows users in the same country, or between the US and the UK, to transfer money to one another. Users can create a free account that will allow them to instantly send or receive money. You can use the app to purchase goods from businesses or send money to friends, among other things. Once you have downloaded the app you can choose a username unique to you, called a $cashtag. Any Cash App customer can use this $cashtag to find you and send or request money. They can also find you using the phone number or email address that you used to set up your account. There are two main ways of receiving money on Cash App: by sending a request or approving a payment. Before you get started, you will need to link either your personal or business bank account to the app, so that you can get your money right away. To do this, you need to choose a person, or people if you’re getting money from more than one person, to request money from. You can do this by manually entering their $cashtag, their email address, or their phone number. There is also an option to add a customized note to remind them what it's for. You can also personalize it for your brand or customer. You then request the money and a notification goes through to their Cash App account asking them to complete the payment. Approving a PaymentThe second way to receive money is by approving a payment that somebody has sent to you. If this is the first time you’ve received money from this person, you will have to approve the payment before it goes into your balance. But if you've received money from this person before, the money will automatically be added to your balance. Cashing OutOnce you have successfully requested or approved the payments, the money will be in your Cash App bank. One of the things that Cash App offers is a free debit card, called a Cash Card. This debit card can be used as you would a normal card and can even be used at ATMs to take out cash. This allows some users to use their Cash App balance as a normal bank. But others may prefer to simply use it as a payment tool and then transfer the balance to their own business or personal bank account. You can do this by ‘cashing out’. This sends your Cash App balance as a direct deposit to your selected bank account. When cashing out, you will be asked how you would like to deposit the money. There are two options. Most people tend to choose the “Standard” method, where the money will take one to three days to appear in your bank account. But, if you need the money right away, Cash App allows you to choose the “Instant” option for a 25 cent fee.
