For your security, FindMy must be disabled before we can proceed with any repairs on your Apple device. Please follow the instructions on how to disable FindMy on your Apple device.
Method One: Disable from Browser
1) Go to //www.icloud.com on a different device than the one you are repairing.
2) Sign in using your Apple ID. If you forgot your Apple ID, please visit the link here.
Note: You can bypass two-factor identification by clicking the shortcut button shown below.
3) Click on the "Find My" icon.
4) Click on the drop-down menu and click on the device that you want to disable 'Find My' on.
IMPORTANT: Your device must be turned off, otherwise it will not be removable.
5) Click on the drop-down menu again and click on the (X) next to the device. This will disable 'Find My' on the device.
Do not erase or remove the device from the account.
Method TWO: DISABLE FROM THE ‘FIND MY’ APP
1) Open the Find My app on your device.
2) Tap on the “Devices” tab within the app.
3) Swipe over the device you would like to remove and click on the red trash icon to remove the
device.
Method THREE: Disable from Device
On iPhone or iPad
1) Open settings
Tap on your Apple ID (highlighted below).
2) Tap the 'Find My' Icon.
3) Tap on "Find My iPhone"
4) Toggle "Find My iPhone" off. You will prompted to enter your Apple ID and password.
On Mac
1) Open System Preferences.
2) Click on iCloud.
3) Scroll down to 'Find My
Mac' and toggle off.
You will be prompted to enter your Apple ID and password.
Apple Watches
1) With your Apple Watch and iPhone close together, open the watch app on your iPhone.
2) Tap the 'My Watch' tab and then tap 'All Watches' at the top of the screen.
3) Tap the info button next to your Apple Watch.
4) Tap Unpair Apple Watch. For cellular models of Apple Watch, tap Remove [Carrier] Plan.
5) Enter your Apple ID password and tap again to confirm.
