I received my new pants hoping to wear them to work the next day. After opening not only are they the wrong size but they are significantly worn. The Levi's printing in the inner waist is peeling and the size tag showing 34x30 (I ordered a 36x34) but was almost unreadable because the pants had been worn a s washed so many time. On the one hand, Lee is trying something new and gets high marks for doing so. There is a vast ocean of "skinny" pants out there from merchandising geniuses who figured out that everybody was between 22 and 35 and thin-framed. For those well past that age, this makes finding plain, serviceable, good-quality pants a tortuous process. I would love to say these are great, but they run small, just an inconvenience to exchange, and the material is odd. It feels different on the skin in a way hard to describe, and it does not breathe well so the legs can become noticeably warm. The 4-stars is a "good try" rating. They fit exactly as they should, they look right and are so comfortable they are always my first choice to wear out of the wardrobe. They are also great for wearing whilst playing golf and other activities due to the comfort aspect. These pants are some of the most comfortable pants I own thanks to how stretchy they are, but at the same time it looks like I'm wearing regular pants. I bought two pairs, blue and khaki. While the fit was as expected and are comfortable, wore and washed them twice only to have them, the blue pair, discolour and fade to a reddish tint on the thighs.
