Set up RCA Universal Remote Automatically

Here are the steps using the Automatic Programming method on your RCA Universal Remote:

Make sure the remote has fresh batteries in it.
Turn on the device you want to set up with the RCA Universal Remote.
Press and release the TV button on the remote. This should make the red light on the remote flash steadily.
Now press and hold the Power and TV buttons on the RCA Universal Remote at the same time, after which the On/Off button will light up and then switch off by itself. The button should then light up again and stay lit.
