The event, which was founded in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, offers free admission to all members of the military, police, fire and rescue workers. Each year, a portion of the event’s proceeds are donated to a military, police or fire and rescue-based organization. Since its inception Erie Gymnastics Center has raised more than $100,000 for related charities through the Stars and Stripes Gymnastics Invitational. The Main Event will feature top level male and female gymnasts (Level 10) at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 15. Spectator admission is $17 for adults, $8 for children (ages 3-17) and free for children under 3. Admission in 2022 will be cash only. All police, military, veterans, or fire and rescue workers will receive free admission with ID. For more information, click here. Stars & Stripes Gymnastics Invitational January 14-17, 2022 Erie Gymnastics Center presents the 21st Annual Stars and Stripes Invitational January 14-17, 2022! The event is regarded as the largest co-ed gymnastics competition in Pennsylvania. All athletes meeting Stars & Stripes Championships qualifying scores and eligibility requirements at USA Gymnastics T&T sanctioned competitions may enter Stars & Stripes Championships. All entries are subject to verification by the State Chair. All competitors must enter Stars & Stripes Championships at the same level at which the qualifying score was achieved. If the athlete competes at a higher level after the qualifying score is reached, they may not compete at the previous level at Stars & Stripes Championships. See the Rules & Policies and Development Code of Points for complete information. Non-resident foreign competitors are not allowed to compete at Stars & Stripes Championships. Resident foreign athletes who are members of USA Gymnastics and have met all qualification requirements may compete at Stars & Stripes Championships. Divisions: Development Level 5-7, HUGS Level 1-4 Registration deadline: June 10, 2022 $150 flat fee per athlete (one event or all). No fee for coaches. Entry fees must be paid with a credit card on the USA Gymnastics Meet Reservation system. Entries are not valid until payment is received. Refunds will not be given for athletes who entered but did not qualify to Stars & Stripes Championships. If the event is cancelled by USA Gymnastics, participants will receive a 100% refund on entry fees paid if the event is cancelled more than 60 days from the start of the event. If the event is cancelled by USA Gymnastics 60 days or less from the event, the participants will receive a 50% refund on the entry fees paid. If an athlete withdraws from the event due to an injury or any other reason more than 60 days from the event, she/he may receive a 100% refund on their entry fee. If the athlete withdrawals within 60 days of the event, no refund will be given. Click Here for the refund form. Late entries are subject to approval by the Program Director. Changes to entries between June 11 and July 1: $25 per correction. Changes to entries after June 1: $50 per
correction. Coaches, judges, and officials who are current members will be issued credentials (no pending memberships). Only two coaches per team will be issued credentials. Requests for additional coaches' credentials must be approved by the Program Director. Teams with more than ten athletes need not apply. Judges request for assignment due June 23. Judges will be paid according to the pay scales detailed in the T&T Rules & Policies. Travel and accommodation will not be provided unless otherwise advised. Saturday, July 23 Sunday, July 24 Monday, July 25 (subject to change) Rules from the Development Code of Points will be used. All age groups are based on the age of the competitor on December 31, 2022. The dress code found in the Development Code of Points must be followed at all times. Athletes and coaches may not wear National Team apparel, including anything with the USA flag or logo at any time during training or competition. USA attire may not be worn even if covering logo and flag. USA backpacks or duffle bags are also not allowed. Eurotramp Ultimate trampolines Training groups will be available after registration deadline. Current USA Gymnastics competitive coach / judge/ meet director members or age and physical size appropriate current athlete members. One spotter is required at each corner, if a throw mat is not utilized. If a throw mat is utilized, one additional spotter must be on the same side that the mat is used.
