The title track to the British New Wave duo’s second album is so fiercely iconic, it threatens to render its other nine tracks redundant. But it’d be criminal to overlook the record that transformed Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart from former post-punks to global phenomenon: Lennox excels at white soul and stentorian come-ons laced with queer intrigue—a predatory, dangerous vibe powered by Stewart’s analog synths and then-trailblazing drum machines. One stunning outlier is “Jennifer,” a glacial song of eerie devotion that anticipated dream pop.

  Speccydoughboy; have you compared this one with other pressings? Such as the Japan for USA release or the Japan for Europe?
  This latter sounds a little similar, but without the error in this index numbers

  I'm a little disappointed with this version, by starting saying that from track 6 to 10 there's a cut in the songs noticed when you put it in the computer, second it sounds a little darker than the American PCD, I suggest to every collector to make the comparison
