How long is Pitts DPT program?The Pitt DPT program (both Hybrid and Residential options) is a 2.3-year program (7 terms). Across the final two terms of the program, students will complete 30 weeks of full-time clinical experience for a total of 42 weeks of full-time clinical experience upon graduation.

How long does it take to become a physical therapist in PA?Completing an undergraduate degree usually takes four years, while earning a physical therapy doctorate takes three, making the typical academic commitment required to become a PT roughly seven years. Some physical therapy schools in PA offer what's known as "freshman entry" DPT programs.
