We do not recommend you to deposit a Voicemail message when you are roaming because of potential incompatibilities between the operators’ systems.

How long will my Voicemail message be kept in my mailbox?
A Voicemail message will be kept in your mailbox for 7 days, after which the message will be automatically deleted.
Can I identify an incoming call made via the Call Return feature?
Yes. The number displayed on your mobile phone will be the caller’s mobile number.
Does the caller need to be a Singtel Mobile subscriber in order to leave a Voicemail?
No.
Can I do a Call Return to a fixed line phone (e.g. PABX telephone)?
Yes.
Will there be additional charges for Call Return?
No. You will however be charged for the airtime when accessing your voice messages and making phone calls.
Are there any local charges for Voicemail?
Charges apply for:
Airtime:

  • You’re accessing your Voicemail mailbox and retrieving voice messages
  • Your callers start hearing the Voicemail announcement until they finish depositing a voice message (Callers are also charged airtime)
  • You utilise the Call Return feature and are connected/diverted to your recipient's Voicemail mailbox

Call Forward:
  • You’ll be charged for standard outgoing airtime on missed calls diverted to your Voicemail

Are there any roaming charges for Voicemail?
Roaming charges apply when:
  • You access and retrieve your voice messages from overseas
  • Your callers leave you a voice message when you are overseas

What will I hear after doing a Call Return, i.e. after pressing [#]?
You will hear a ringing tone. If the call is unsuccessful, there will be an announcement. When the call is terminated, the system will route you back to the Voicemail access menu.
Can a Call Return be made before the deposited message has finished playing?
Yes, you may press 0 at any time to go to the Call Return option. Press [#] when prompted.

  • Will my voice messages in old Voicemail System be moved to new Voicemail System?
    No, we will not be able to migrate your voice messages in old Voicemail system to new Voicemail system. However, we will provide you with an option to access your voice messages in old mailbox. Please note that new and saved messages will be kept in the old mailbox for 8 days from the day messages are deposited or saved as per Voicemail service settings. e.g. New Message deposited on 10 Dec will be kept till 17 Dec.

  • How do I access my voice messages in old Voicemail System after the migration to new Voicemail system?
    Voicemail messages can be retrieved by calling 1381 (local) or 96801381 (overseas). An Outdial option will be made available for you in the Main Menu of Voicemail service to retrieve the messages in the old VMS mailbox.

    Steps for accessing messages in old Voicemail system:
    a. Call 1381 (local) or 96801381 (overseas).
    b. When prompted, Press 3 in Main Menu to Listen to the messages in your old mailbox
    c. Once you press 3, you will be connected to your mailbox in the old voicemail
    d. Once finished accessing old voicemail, you can Press * for redirect back to the Main Menu

    Please note that access to the old mailbox is temporary and will no longer be available after 25 Dec 2020.

      We are continuously reviewing our service offerings to provide most relevant services to our customers. While Voicemail Plus VAS will no longer be available from 10 Dec 23:59, you can continue to receive voice messages under the Voicemail service which is provided with no subscription fees.

    2. Can I continue using Voicemail service after the cessation of Voicemail Plus VAS?
      Yes, you can continue using Voicemail service, with following notable differences as compared to Voicemail Plus.
