How much does a ram 2500 diesel weigh

I was curious as to what our trucks actually weigh? I have looked a round but havent found anything.

Look on this door sticker that has tire pressure stuff and all that.

Ughhhh...I want to say 8700ish. At the local dump, you have to weigh pre/post dump and I think the net came up at that weight. (I'll have to find that slip) I don't know how accurate those scales are and if they're programed to weigh in only 100lb increments?

7468lbs base curb weight from the Dodge info sheet. That's why I think 8700 might be too much--memory isn't what it used to be.

Mine weighed 7180 they last time I was at the dump. 7480 with me in it.

Mine weights 8,000 without a driver and full of fuel. I do have several hundred pounds of stuff that lives in the tool box, so I would say 7500 if it were empty.

I think the mega cabs are around 9k?

i went to the scrap yard a couple months ago. my truck and a lil 10ft trailer weighed 9300lbs with me in it. the trailer weighs id say around 1100 or so and my tool box is full of tools and chains and other misc items. plus i hav my stereo box and stuff behind the seat which is another 100lbs or a lil more. id say 8K is a good estimate to wat my megacab weighs.:thumbsup:

Yep, Dodge published the curb weight as 6825.

I forgot this site lists curb weight. Just ignore the F/R split. The FAW seems to be correct, so subtract that from curb weight for the RAW.

Lists my truck at 7259 4518 FAW 2741 RAW. I hit the scales at 8000 4700/3300, seems about right or at least close.

2003 Dually quad cab long bed me (300lbs~) Full 35 gallon tank, prob 200 in the toolbox, full storage compartments inside the cab, had like a fax machine and a HP scanner from work in truck lol. I weighed in right at 8125 with me in it at the truck pulls.

Factory on mine is 6,558-lbs. With driver, full fuel, Leer topper and "trunk junk" I'm at approximate signature weight [below].

Use a certified CAT Scale to be sure of weights. Local yards, etc, won't go to court with your like CAT guarantees (ex-OTR driver), so they have a nice incentive to get it correct (should see their service trucks). Also, I've read that any scale pad reading can be +/- 20-lbs or so. In other words, several readings over several days can vary slightly.

Just grabbed a ton of gravel a couple weeks ago and hit the scales at 7280 before load. Can't remember how much fuel but that was with toolbox in truck, oversized tires, and stereo equip under rear seat.

i weighed my 2003 ram 2500 4 door 4 wheel drive with me in it on a scale at a quarry and it weighed a little over 7400 pounds.
