How do you get mold out of a detergent dispenser?Run the wash cycle on the hottest setting your machine offers with a cup of bleach or vinegar. If using bleach, pour it into the compartment designated for bleach. If using vinegar, pour it into the detergent slot. If your machine has a self-clean cycle, you can use that setting.
How do I clean my washing machine detergent slot?Remove all of the detachable elements of the drawer and clean everything in warm soapy water. Use a toothbrush or bottle-cleaner to reach all the parts of the drawer and the drawer housing. Let the drawer dry and then reassemble. Clean the detergent drawer housing in the washing machine with a damp cloth.
