How to remove middle seat toyota sienna 2023

Price: The 2023 Toyota Sienna hybrid-powered minivan offers seating for up to 8 people and has a starting price of approximately $35,000.

The 2023 Toyota Sienna comes standard with a hybrid 4-cylinder engine, has plenty of room for up to 8 people in three rows of seating and offers a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.

All in all, as practical vehicles go, the 2023 Sienna is a great choice for anyone who needs to haul lots of people, plenty of cargo, or a combination of the two.

The hybrid powertrain also returns nearly class-leading fuel economy, with an EPA-estimated 36 mpg in both city and highway driving. Even adding all-wheel drive only takes away one mpg in city economy.

But what was that about “nearly class-leading” economy? Only one direct minivan rival is better in terms of MPGs, and it happens to be the Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid.

That leaves us wondering: Does Toyota have a plug-in hybrid powertrain planned for the 2023 Sienna? While nothing is confirmed, a Sienna plug-in would offer the benefits of better fuel economy, electric-only driving range, and additional horsepower.

It’s no secret that while the current hybrid 4-cylinder offers great mileage, its total output of 245 horsepower is down from the 296-hp provided by the V6 in the previous Sienna.

More power and better fuel economy are not mutually exclusive, as proven in Toyota’s own RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid SUV. The RAV4 Prime’s potent 302-horsepower hybrid engine could certainly give the Sienna added kick, in more ways than one.

The rest of the Sienna lineup should continue mostly unchanged for the 2023 model year. Don’t be surprised if an added trim or special edition gets introduced, similar to Woodland Edition that arrived last year. This brought along standard all-wheel drive, plus convenience touches like a pair of 120-volt outlets and wireless smartphone charging. Despite the outdoorsy name, wood trim and chirpy squirrels darting around the cabin were not included.

A 9-inch infotainment system has been standard on all Sienna trims, and we don’t expect this to change in the 2023 model. This unit comes standard with all-important features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alex, Wi-Fi hot spot, and a total of 7 USB ports.

2023 Toyota Sienna Pricing

We expect the 2023 Toyota Sienna to start at roughly $35,000 for the base trim level. That’s right on par with rivals like the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, and Kia Carnival.

At its upper limits, the 2023 Sienna in top-of-the-line Platinum trim starts above $50,000. It comes loaded with features like all-wheel drive, surround-view parking camera, leather seating, 2nd-row dual captain’s chairs, head-up instrument display, heated and ventilated front seats, heated 2nd-row seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Any potential plug-in hybrid version of the Sienna would probably start around $45,000 and feature a similarly ample range of standard comfort and tech features.

KBB Vehicle Review and Rating Methodology

Our Expert Ratings come from hours of both driving and number crunching to make sure that you choose the best car for you. We comprehensively experience and analyze every new SUV, car, truck, or minivan for sale in the U.S. and compare it to its competitors. When all that dust settles, we have our ratings.

We require new ratings every time an all-new vehicle or a new generation of an existing vehicle comes out. Additionally, we reassess those ratings when a new-generation vehicle receives a mid-cycle refresh — basically, sprucing up a car in the middle of its product cycle (typically, around the 2-3 years mark) with a minor facelift, often with updates to features and technology.

Rather than pulling random numbers out of the air or off some meaningless checklist, KBB’s editors rank a vehicle to where it belongs in its class. Before any car earns its KBB rating, it must prove itself to be better (or worse) than the other cars it’s competing against as it tries to get you to spend your money buying or leasing.

Our editors drive and live with a given vehicle. We ask all the right questions about the interior, the exterior, the engine and powertrain, the ride and handling, the features, the comfort, and of course, about the price. Does it serve the purpose for which it was built? (Whether that purpose is commuting efficiently to and from work in the city, keeping your family safe, making you feel like you’ve made it to the top — or that you’re on your way — or making you feel like you’ve finally found just the right partner for your lifestyle.)

We take each vehicle we test through the mundane — parking, lane-changing, backing up, cargo space and loading — as well as the essential — acceleration, braking, handling, interior quiet and comfort, build quality, materials quality, reliability.
