After successful pairing you will be able to transfer photos/videos from your Canon EOS camera to your iPhone/iPad over Wi-Fi. For supported Canon EOS models PhotoSync also enables shoot & transfer: Photos & videos are transferred to your iPhone/iPad right after shooting, optionally also immediate transfer to remote locations (Computer, NAS, Cloud) is possible over HDMI & Airplay to a big screen TV.

Requirements

  • PhotoSync for iOS 4.0 or higher
  • Canon EOS Wi-Fi Camera

Optional

  • A Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot (required for shoot & save to remote targets like Computer, NAS or Cloud)

Step 1

Open the Wi-Fi menu on your Canon EOS camera. Some models have a dedicated Wi-Fi button; otherwise you can reach the Wi-Fi function in the settings menu of your camera (please consult the manual of your camera for further details).

You should get a screen similar to the graphic below:

To connect to an existing network touch „Switch network“ and then connect to your existing network. If you have connected to an existing network please continue to Step 5.

Step 4

Take your iPhone/iPad, open the system settings and touch Wi-Fi. Select the „Canon“ (here: EOS200D-048_Canon0A) Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password as displayed on your camera screen.
