I received it on the morning of 5-20, and tried a total of 16 bed bugs at noon. The whole family has been tortured for more than a month, and today is the most pleasant day in more than a month. Thank you so much for this product and the boss for such efficient delivery.

I use Diatomaceous earth. My son had brought these damn bugs here. I immediately used D.E. well he finally got kicked out and our biggest worry came true they moved upstairs. By the time I seen them I'd say 2 samll families had moved into the old man couch. Well De Works but the way my couches are built they can get under them. And you can't exactly get D.E powder to stay along the bottom edge. I have new couches you build and the piece of cloth that usually goes across the bottom to idk hide everything is not there. It's all tucked up in there. I can flip couches and look no hiding under that piece of cloth that's usually there. But I had to do the back cracks where we attached the backs of couches. Long story short this needs to be in a partnership with D.E powder yess it looks terrible but a small price to pay unless you are rich and can get your house heat treated more than once. If I had not made my son use D.E we would have had a full blown infestation. But he also was to lazy to follow all of my directions so behold he left they needed a food source. But if the D.E was never done it would have been bad. To find out my idiot son was lying when he said he did not see anything and still not be loaded with these things after months tells me my powder works. Make sure it's FOOD GRADE D.E powder. He lied for months. I should have been so badly infested. But this stuff worked. I sprayed backs of couches. All along the bottom edges where they could get in and out of that cloth that was staples in. I will say my D.E was always in my couches. They couldn't live under couch cushions. I always have a cover on them so you really can't see it. Make sure you use a shop vacuum when you want to clean up. I will get a majority of it up with shop vac then vacuum with my Oreck. My Oreck has not died yet so that idea is working. Now I am a freak about bad bugs. I used so much spray. And I couldn't wait two weeks. I did not saturate the first time either I was worried about my color getting ruined on couch. But I was in full panic mode and within a week they got soaked I just couldn't risk it. I figured I will just take a scrub brush later to them with some nice smelling detergent water or whatnot. Anyways. After that I sprayed again in a week. I just kept at it for a month. I even did it again at the end 3 weeks later because PTSD from bugs is real for me. And I finally got all my son's stuff out of house. I used about 6 bottles. But I was not playing around. I soaked my son's room in basement. I also sprayed our upstairs where I never seen them just in case. That also tells you D.E works. It never made it to top upstairs attack area I guess you can call it. There are two rooms in there. But may also help they had no reason too with someone always sleeping on couch downstairs. They always seemed like they were on their last leg. Sorry this is so long. But I need to tell people it's a two part system. One needs to work with the other. Especially where you can not put the powder. This stuff does not have a smell but it smelled like wet wood in my living room mixed with the gray color smell they dye the material with. That smell you get before they really air out. I just leave the room for upstairs and run two fans for it to dry out a bit. Scared to say I have not seen any. But even if one was in hybernate mode I feel this stuff kills the eggs. D.E can not kill eggs they need to be crawling through it to get cut up and breath it in. But A tedious ruined month and a half I feel I am done. But like I said. I am a freak and am spraying even though I have seen no sign. You probably only need one or two bottles of this stuff depending on how many you seen. And if you soak the stuff like I did. I have two 101 inch couches with the sectional thing And two ottoman's. So by the time I have soaked all of them I am done with a bottle. Plus I do a few other spots. I have nothing anywhere else. They don't like to go more than 10 ft from their food source. It's very stressful not easy. And I always made my son change his clothes before he headed upstairs and bagged them. This girl is not playing. I do everything by the book. I only want to deal with a nightmare so long. You don't want to take one on another floor that's for sure. Doing the basement room and the living room we're plenty enough for me. And am happy SO Happy this stuff works. Swear everything I read said heat treat. And that is not a guarantee they won't have to come back. And did you ever read what that entails. You have a lot of work to do to do that. This stuff worked awesome as well as the partnership with the D.E powder.

This item works best in an empty house. Not what I needed for the houses I lived in. The other product by ortho the bed bug tick and flea with the spray wand is my go to product. In the room that these bugs are in, I use the wand product and spray it everywhere, additional I clean the rest of the hard floors in the house with a bleach and water mixture and being I share a bathroom, I spray the ceramic title floor with rubbing alcohol before I go into it especially around the toilet. Let me start by saying now that I have experience with this issue, my boyfriend brought these bugs into my house 4 times. In short if you have a nested item throw it out, if you have carpet stream clean it, otherwise vacuum the rug and immediately empty canister in the trash outside then clean the vacuum. Three different houses. With that being said in the beginning I didn't know what to do. The first time, I moved us to one of my other houses and left everything behind. Went back and threw out the couch and the beds. The second time, I moved to another house, but this time I caught it earlier, only had to throw out the item that they nested in which was the couch. Mattress were already in encasements from my last lesson. The third time was the quickest I had ever gotten rid of them. He was at this point sleeping on an inflatable mattress. Threw out the mattress and steam cleaned the carpet. Our clothes were already in plastic totes. The fourth time I washed my sheets everyday then vacuumed the washed all the hardwood and ceramic floor with bleach and water mix. Every time I used the bathroom I sprayed the ceramic floor with rubbing alcohol. And then his room is sprayed everywhere with the ortho bed bug flea and tick spray wand product. Under the rugs edges, bed frame, between the encased box spring and mattress along the floor boards, around all the furniture. All laundry travel from his room in plastic bags right to the washer. To whom ever may have this issue I truly wish you the best. I bought everything and these where the products the worked for me.

We moved into a new house and ended up inheriting an epic flea infestation. When we first moved in, even going into the backyard meant having at least five fleas jump onto you at any given time. Considering we have four cats, three dogs, two cats, and six chickens as part of our household, this couldn't stand.

We had our pest control service come out and spray the yard and the toolshed made of nightmares where the worst of the fleas were. The first time I'd gone into that toolshed I got ambushed by about 50 hungry and desperate fleas. It still makes my skin crawl to think about it. The professional pest control made no noticeable difference. We used flea bombs. Again, didn't help much. Flea traps? A total joke.

Then I read the reviews for Ortho and bought two gallons. Let me tell you - this stuff WORKS. Better than what the professionals used. I sprayed every nook and cranny of our house and yard. Combined with treating all of our animals, I'd say we finally turned a corner and the fleas are retreating. The spray nozzle was very easy to put together and intuitive to use. You do need to repeat treatments because of the life cycle of the fleas. Two weeks later and we can go in our yard without being bothered. The toolshed went from having an entire flea colony to a few tiny baby fleas barely holding on. I just repeated the treatment after two weeks and I'm hopeful this will nip it in the bud. Two gallons was also enough for out house and yard. Excellent value for the money compared to using a service.

If you're struggling with fleas - give this stuff a try. It's helped save my sanity.
