Ted lasso season 1 episode 3 reddit

While we have a ways away until S3 even starts, I can’t shake a prediction I have for a potential s3 twist ending. Wanted to see what everyone else’s looks like as well.

I think it will be West Ham going to the finals, potentially with Richmond but I think that could be a twist as well.

West Ham wins, Nate is overjoyed, Nate’s father is indifferent, and Ted congratulates him and tells him he’s proud of him and he always knew he was Nate the Great (making a joke about his hair calling him Nate the Grey) and that the photo he gave him for Christmas is in his bedroom. This blows Nate’s mind and all the incorrectly preconceived notions he has about Ted hating him, and he goes off the deep end.

Give you one guess who he goes to for help….

What are your predictions for the S3 ending?

Just getting caught up, well, in the show:

That's it, that's what hooked me from the start. Ted Lasso is just such a good person but he isn't blinded by his insane altruistic self, he knows when to back off and in this particular case, is actually helping people who are looking to have someone guide them.

The soccer environment is such a good medium to utilize the premise too, you don't have to give two shits about the sport (although I'm hoping for some exciting scenes during matches, guranteed to come up - watch Ping Pong the Animation if you want uplifting sports TV, it's really good) but it's a great vehicle for the plot so far.

It's never too sappy, it's crass, it's almost unbearably sweet - basically what people wanted the whole "wholesome" movement to be before it immediately descended into obnoxious karma farming and upvote pandering. There is so much evidence for general, persistent kindness being conducive to mental health and scholastic performance, so far it's also a great message to send and I can't quite believe how real it is in portraying both the blissfully idealistic side of life as well as the harsh reality of, I don't know, being divorced or having some jocks bully their servant on a daily basis. It's not sugarcoating anything, it's just that Ted Lasso is his own brand of superhero. Plenty of reallife examples out there too.
